Luthor for macOS (in development)

A separate macOS matter workspace is in development: local folders on your Mac, offline browse, and AI only with context you approve. It will not sync with Luthor web. Web matters stay in the cloud; desktop folders stay on device.

Two products, one brand, clear boundary

The browser product runs Supabase-backed matters and the server-side associate. The macOS app, when it ships, will run local folders and encrypted state on the Mac. Opening a desktop workspace will not upload it. Only the exact context approved for an AI or remote-research request leaves the device.

Built for how files actually live

Many advocates keep matter trees on disk. Luthor for macOS is being built for that habit: treat a folder as the workspace, keep privileged material local, and still offer research and drafting help when counsel deliberately sends a bounded slice.

Not shipped on the web yet

The macOS download is not publicly available from luthor.in today. Request access for the web product; the desktop app will follow as a signed release when it is ready. Until then, do not describe web and desktop as one synced workspace.
